교회 내의 위선자들이 교회 내 공동체들을 기만하며,죽이고, 교회를 파괴하고 있다! Holy Father spoke how the hypocrisy destroys our Church communities,,,!
교황님은 오늘 아침 미사 강론에서, 교회의 위선자들이 교회 내의 단체들을 기만하며 공동체들을 파괴하고, 교회를 상하게 하고 있다고 강조하십니다. 원색적인 강한 어조로, 교회 내에서 안팎의 과찬을 즐기는 위선자들은 신앙인들이 아니며, 더구나 그리스도인들은 진솔하고 진지해야 한다고 역설하셨습니다. 신앙인이라면, 진솔해야 합니다.
500여 만명이 넘는다는 한국천주교회의 회원들 중에 천주께 대한 신앙으로 진심으로 기도하는 천주교 신자들이 몇명이나 될지 ?! 외형적인 회원 증가보다는 단 몇명이라도, 신앙인들이 늘어야 합니다. 위선과 기만이 가장 많은 사회가 종교계가 아닐까? 우리는 반성해야 합니다.
교회 공동체에서, 교회를 배경으로, 교회를 빙자하여, 존경과 영광과 찬사와 인기와 명성을 싫어하지 않고, 오히려 탐하며, 환장한듯 보이는 이들이 적지 않은 오늘의 한국 종교계, 특히, 우리 천주교회의 신도들 뿐 아니라, 우리 성직자들을 포함하여, 더욱이, 지도층에 있는 신앙인들은 오늘 아침 교황님의 강론을 귀담아 듣고, 마음에 새기며, 반성해야 하겠습니다.
특히, 오늘의 한국교회 현실은 이중인격으로, 두 얼굴을 가진 위선자들이 교회를 이렇게 만들고 있기 때문입니다. 과찬과 탐욕과 위선으로 주님의 교회공동체를 속이고 깨뜨려 버리고 있는 위선자들의 그림자와 그늘 아래서 얼마나 많은 의롭고 거룩한, 숨쉬는 성인성녀들이 탄압과 박해와 수난을 겪고 있는지 살펴봅시다. 높은 지위를 탐하고, 영광과 과찬을 즐기며 허위 조작도 서슴치 않는 위선자들은 그리스도신앙인들이 아니며, 이를 묵인하며 침묵하는 이들은 선조들의 순교 신앙을 가진 한국천주교회 신앙인들이라고 할 수 없습니다. 우리 모두 반성해야 하겠습니다. 이하에, 보다 강한 어감을 주는 영어와 이태리어 원문을 그대로 옮깁니다.-Msgr. (Vatican Radio) Pope Francis on Tuesday urged Christians to be truthful, warning them against the temptations of hypocrisy and flattery. His words came during the homily at morning Mass at the Casa Santa Marta.
Hypocrisy – Pope Francis said – is not the language of Jesus, nor is it the language of Christians, in fact, he said, “the hypocrite is capable of destroying a community”. - Listen to the report by Linda Bordoni:
The Pope explained that Jesus often uses the adjective “hypocrite” to describe the doctors of the law, because, as the etymology of the word illustrates, they claim to have higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case, they proffer their opinions and issue judgements but in reality they are false.
And reflecting on the Gospel reading of the day, the Pope said "The hypocrite always uses language to flatter” just as some Pharisees and Herodians who tried to ensnare Jesus in his speech.
“Hypocrites – Francis said – always begin with adulation, “exaggerating the truth, feeding into one’s vanity" and he recalled the case of a priest he met a long time ago whom, he said, “drank-up all the flattery; that, he said, was his weakness”.
Jesus makes us see reality which is the opposite of hypocrisy and ideology
Flattery, the Pope said, is triggered by “bad intentions” as in the case of the doctors of the law in today’s liturgical reading. They put Jesus to the test, flattering him first and then asking him a question with the intention of making him fall into the wrong: “Is it lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar or not?”
"The hypocrite, Francis said, is two-faced, but Jesus knew their hypocrisy and said: ‘Why are you testing me? Bring me a denarius to look at.’ Jesus always responds to hypocrites and ideologists with reality: ‘this is the reality; everything else is either hypocrisy or ideology’. In this case he said: ‘bring me a coin’, and he answered with the wisdom of the Lord: ‘Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar – the reality was that the coin carried the image of Caesar - and to God what belongs to God’.”
The third aspect, the Pope continued “is that the language of hypocrisy is the language of deceit, it is the same language the serpent used with Eve.”
It begins with flattery, he said, and ends up destroying people: “it tears to pieces the personality and the soul of a person. It destroys communities”.

"Hypocrisy is so bad for the Church” the Pope said with a warning to all those Christians who fall into this sinful and destructful attitude.
"The hypocrite is capable of destroying a community. While speaking gently, he ruinously judges a person. He is a killer” he said.
Pope Francis concluded exhorting the faithful to remember that the only way to respond to flattery is with truth; the only way to respond to ideology is with reality.
“Let us ask the Lord to guard us from this vice, to help us be truthful, and if this is not possible to keep silent – but never to be a hypocrite” he said. (from Vatican Radio)

“L’ipocrisia non è il linguaggio di Gesù”, né deve esserlo dei cristiani giacché “l’ipocrita è capace di uccidere una comunità”. E’ quanto affermato da Papa Francesco nella Messa mattutina a Casa Santa Marta. Il Pontefice ha ribadito che, seguendo l’esempio di Gesù, il linguaggio dei cristiani deve essere veritiero ed ha messo in guardia dalle tentazioni dell’ipocrisia e dell’adulazione. “Ipocriti”. Papa Francesco ha messo l’accento nell’omelia a Santa Marta su questa parola che Gesù usa tante volte per qualificare i dottori della legge. Sono ipocriti, ha osservato, perché “fanno vedere una cosa ma ne pensano un’altra, come la stessa etimologia della parola dice”.

Costoro, infatti, cercano di adulare Gesù. “Gli ipocriti – è stato il suo commento – sempre incominciano con l’adulazione”. L’adulazione, ha proseguito Francesco, è anche “non dire una verità, è esagerare, è far crescere la vanità”. Ha così rammentato il caso di un prete, “conosciuto tanto tempo fa”, che si beveva “tutte le adulazioni che gli facevano, era la sua debolezza”.

Il terzo aspetto, ha soggiunto il Papa, “è che il linguaggio dell’ipocrisia è il linguaggio dell’inganno, è lo stesso linguaggio del serpente a Eva, è lo stesso”. Comincia con l’adulazione per poi distruggere le persone, persino “strappa la personalità e l’anima di una persona. Uccide le comunità”. “Quando ci sono ipocriti in una comunità – ha ammonito – c’è un pericolo grande lì, c’è un pericolo molto brutto”. Il Signore Gesù ci ha detto: “Sia il vostro parlare: sì, sì, no, no. Il superfluo procede dal maligno”.

Chiediamo al Signore che ci custodisca per non cadere in questo vizio dell’ipocrisia, del truccarci l’atteggiamento ma con cattive intenzioni.
